M.I.A to give birth at the Grammys

M.I.A., Maya Arulpragasam, won’t let the birth of her baby stop her from attending the Grammys. She’s up for record of the year and best rap song! She explains, “They say that you’re often late the first time, so I’m planning to go.”

M.I.A. could make this the most memorable Grammy show ever. Who will ever forget the time some singer’s water broke in the middle of her acceptance speech. And who’ll forget the janitor who slipped and landed face first in that puddle of baby juice. And who’ll forget the eruption of laughter that broke the janitor’s spirit and put him into years of therapy. Everyone, probably.
