John Hughes dead at 59

John Hughes died today from a heart attack during a morning walk while visiting family in NYC. He was 59. Hughes, of course, directed such hits as After Mabo. Wait, no. Wrong John Hughes. Hughes directed hits like The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. But screw those gay movies. He also did Weird Science, Uncle Buck, Home Alone, The Great Outdoors and Beethoven. So, this is a pretty big loss for everybody. At least we can learn something from his tragic passing and that is don’t do crazy s**t like taking morning walks. You might as well put a loaded gun to your head and pull the trigger.
