Jon Gosselin doesn’t think Kate understands just how hard it was to be a stay at home mom dad. While Kate was on her book tours, Jon was slaving away in the kitchen, taking care of the kids, cleaning the house or running any one of the number of errands that had to get done. Then when Kate came home, she’d verbally abuse him. Sometimes… sometimes he could just cry.

“I took a lot of abuse from her. I was put down,” Jon Gosselin tells ABC’s Chris Cuomo in an interview set to air next week. “She’ll call me, almost like a lame fish. Like I wasn’t going anywhere.”

The father of eight bristles at that idea: “Well, excuse me, I’m taking care of the kids. She’s on book tours, she’s doing all these thing. You know she’s gone a week … comes back. Packs up and leaves again.”

And, after ten years of marriage, Gosselin laments, “I’m standing there like, “Oh, okay. Your mom’s gone again.”

Poor Jon. A housewife’s work is never acknowledged. Sure, there’s Mother’s Day, but that’s only once a year. It’d have been nice for Kate to tell Jon what a good job he’s done before demanding sex and forcing herself on him. Jon’s just saying, a little appreciation would have been nice.
