Jon Gosselin is taking everyone down with him

Naturally, Jon Gosselin was more than a little butthurt that TLC decided to drop him from Jon and Kate, killing off his easy income, and that Kate was unwilling to slow down the divorce. Which is why he’s know demanding TLC stop production on Jon and Kate Plus 8. Essentially, Jon is taking his ball home.

Jon now claims he believes that continued filming of his eight children will put them in mortal danger. In a letter sent to TLC, Jon’s lawyers say:

“Effective immediately no production crews are to enter Jon Gosselin’s family home for any reason. In the event that anyone enters the marital property, Jon Gosselin will notify the local authority to effectuate Police action against any trespassers.”

Jon’s attorney tells ET: “Jon realized his family was like a trainwreck, so he decided to put the brakes on the divorce and on the show … because if he didn’t the family would be in a mortal accident … the victims of a trainwreck.”

It’s strange that it took two years for Jon to conclude that the show is putting his children in danger. It’s almost as if he’s blackmailing TLC. As if this could all go away in exchange for monetary compensation. But clearly, that’s not the case. Jon is only looking out for his eight bags of money children.
