Kirstie Alley to be fat on TV

Kirstie Alley finally has a new show on TV in which she will be playing the role of a fat person.  Her new 10-episode reality series on A&E that will document her personal struggle with obesity and her fight to get back in shape. Fox 411 reports,

“Robert Sharenow, a VP for A&E, said it is precisely Alley’s willingness to share her story that makes her ‘exactly the kind of star’ the network is drawn to.”

Great. The VP of A&E thinks the public wants to see Kirstie crying over how hard it is to sweat out cream cheese and bacon fat during her two minutes of cardio spent going to her refrigerator and back to her couch. If I wanted to see a cow in action, I’d visit a farm… or buy tickets to Britney Spears’ concert.
