Lindsay says her dad threatened to kill her mom

Releasing phone chats of your daughter in a misguided attempt to help her may not be the best way to get on Lindsay’s good side. Michael leaked old conversations on Wednesday and now Lohan has fired back via the only medium that will listen. Twitter.

“He’s a deadbeat dad. He’s disgusting to do this,” she wrote Thursday morning, noting, “he needs help.”

Her dad’s phone-tape leaks Wednesday, she says, “really hurts my mom for me and my siblings.”

The 23 year-old actress recalls the troubled home life and marriage between her father and mother Dina. “She blames herself for staying w/him for so long,” she says. But Lindsay begged Dina not to leave, she says, because “he always threatened to kill her if she did.”

There’s no way this family can get even more messed up. It’s like a dysfunctional family to end all dysfunctional families. It makes the family of the dad who locked his wife and kids in the basement look relatively normal.
