Rihanna got a new tattoo
Rihanna hit up East Side Ink at 2 AM this morning to have her own personal motto “Never a failure, always a lesson” tattooed backwards near her right shoulder. That way she can read it in the mirror. Clever.
“I asked her why she wanted that and she said, ‘It’s kind of my motto in life for everything.’ Instead of considering things to be mistakes, considering them lessons.”
“She said that she wanted to do it in gray, rather than black, because she wanted it to be more subtle,” explains Bang Bang. “She didn’t want it to draw too much attention.”
I don’t know what’s up with the current trend of using your body as a personal diary. Like Miley Cyrus tattooing the cystic fibrosis slogan “Just Breathe” under her breast. You don’t see me tattooing “regrets, I don’t have them” on my lower back or “stay sexy” with smoke coming out of the letters on my chest. Even though I do. Every day.

Good point, life lesson are not mistakes, but lessons and some time the lesson is very costly and painful, I agree with rihanna!

So true, what she is doing to her body is not good, rihanna is in a dark place right now and she needs to learn how to love her body just has much as her career.

That is exactly what we are talking about tattoo’s can be pretty but there is something call a little to much. Rihanna and Chris both have graffiti on their body.

Yes, of course. To each their own, however, stupid is as stupid does. Tattoos are not inherently stupid ( I have several). Placing them in positions and using dis ambiguous language as if your chest is a diary is moronic.

tattoos look good on a certain type of person…sorry, rihanna isn’t one of them – it reeks of “i’m a sorority girl who tries too hard to be edgy”, like those annoying little studs sorority chicks get on the side of their nostrils, so they can say they have something pierced besides their ears
i have no problem with the tattoo’s (i myself have some and think tattoo’s are beautiful) but its the tattoo its self! why on earth would you have sommething backwards? how long does she spend in the mirror!? surely she could still read it even if it was the right way round. i find that bizarre.
I think tattoos should have meaning for the person who gets them. I know all her tattoos mean something, who are we to judge. I think its stupid to say she is trashing her body, what about people who pierce thier ears or eat fatty foods..jeez everyone is so high and mighty

Really? This is a little bit ridiculous. Tattoos are personal decisions…emblazoning something you love on your body forever. Who gives a crap what other people decide to put on their body? She is not “trashing” her body. She likes it, so screw off.
