Mariah Cary got liquored up before accepting an award for her performance in Precious which still doesn’t make up for her performance in 2001’s Glitter. It took her what seemed like ages to push a few words out of her mouth. Sadly, she didn’t start screaming about why no one was there to carry her to the stage in a gold encrusted throne.
The video cuts off before she finishes which will probably piss her off if she ever sees it. Can you imagine Mariah watching this on her computer and realizing the entirety of her speech wasn’t shown. She’d probably be on the phone right away with YouTube bitching them out while YouTube tries to explain to her that they don’t have control over user content or have the raw footage. But according to Mimi, “you best get the raw footage!”
I think its such a farce that ppl are even blogging about her having a drink and being twisted on stage – have you never been drunk yourself?! It happens – its not that big of a deal :ROLLEYES:

Guess what? She is rich and famous because she lives as a public figure. Preforming for the public is her job. If I get drunk and do something stupid it effects a number of people but wont make the tabloids. If Mariah Carey gets sloppy drunk it is a big deal. When she makes a scene and its no longer a big deal she will be a has been.
