A 17-year-old Phillies fan hopped a fence and booked it into the outfield Monday night during the eighth inning of the Phillies/Cardinals game prompting a security guard to shoot him with a Taser mid-stride sending the kid face first into the grass.
According to the AP, “Several Phillies placed gloves over their faces and appeared to be stifling laughter at the wild scene.” Meanwhile, the rest of the crowd just laughed un-stifled.
An investigation is underway to determine whether or not the use of the stun gun was appropriate. To people who like to laugh, the answer is: yes, definitely.
