Lindsay will not be arrested

Lindsay Lohan will not be arrested at customs when she flies back to the US because her mom, Dina, paid 10% of the $100,000 bail which wiped the arrest warrant.

Is this how bail works? I’ve never been arrested since I’m an angel but I always thought you had to pay the whole thing. It’s like the judge just sets arbitrary numbers for bail. Next time the judge might as well ask Lindsay to pay in Ding Dongs and Ho Hos.
