Lindsay’s Lindsa Lovelace biopic is “rough”

Initial reports are making it sound like Lindsay Lohan was only cast in the Linda Lovelace biopic to be degraded and humiliated. According to a person claiming to have read the script, the film is like a  “Lifetime horror film.”

But some of the sexual acts in the film, written and directed by Matthew Wilder, are so rough, it’s hard to imagine the movie making it to theaters in its current form no matter who plays Lovelace, Von said.

“Traynor kicks her to a pulp,” Von says. “She’s made to say terrible things about herself while in the middle of sex acts. After her boyfriend assaults her, he kisses her bruises and asks, ‘Does this feel good?’ ” Von added, “It’s very sensational. There are not so much plot devices as shock tactics.”

Before Traynor turns Lovelace into a hooker, he forces her into a gang-rape scenario with several businessmen — one of whom hums a tune from “Mary Poppins” while fondling her breast.

Von says, “The movie’s obviously designed to just outright disturb [with] the combination of childhood imagery and absolute outright depraved perversions.”

This will either win Lindsay an Oscar, okay, okay, a tiny bit of critical acclaim or backfire horribly. My guess is the latter. If this can’t even be released in theaters, it’ll be like her last flop of a movie, I Know Who Killed Me. The film sounds like it’s trying to be another A Clockwork Orange or Antichrist in that it wants shock but also have a deeper story. I mean, Antichrist was a messed up movie and made little sense to me but it was written and directed by Lars Von Trier and starred Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg which gave it some sense of credibility.

Matthew Wilder probably has a bet with his friends on how far he can push Lindsay before she says something. My guess is Lindsay will speak up when Wilder tells one of the actors to take a dump on her chest. Although, even then, she’ll probably only ask the crew if that really happened to which the crew will nod their heads and go, “yeah, yeah, sure.”
