Lindsay Lohan checks into sober living house to escape jail

Robert Shapiro has officially signed on to represent Lindsay Lohan and his first plan of action is not to appeal the 90 day sentence, but to convince the judge to put Lindsay in rehab to either eliminate or minimize jail. It’s because of this plan that Lindsay has secretly checked into a sober living home at Pickford Lofts in West Hollywood. The home was founded by Shapiro.

Later Wednesday night, RadarOnline.com captured video of Lindsay’s on-again-off-again girlfriend, DJ Samantha Ronson outside the home. She visited with LiLo for about a half an hour before leaving to pick up some groceries and extra pillows for the Mean Girls star.

Lindsay’s mother, Dina, arrived at Pickford Lofts around Midnight, and didn’t answer any questions as she entered the home with another woman. Lindsay’s little sister Ali also showed up.

Then, around 1 a.m. Thursday, long after Sam had left, Lindsay’s other rumored gal pal, Israeli military vet Eilat Anschel, also visited her at Pickford Lofts.

This is all an attempt to convince the judge to keep Lindsay there instead of jail. Prosecutor Danette Meyers, however, says to not waste his time. “It’s a really a moot point to ask Judge Revel to send Ms. Lohan to rehab only as Judge Revel has already sentenced her. Ms. Lohan is going to jail… Judge Revel could have sentenced her to more time behind bars, but she didn’t.” The only issue up for debate, says Danette, is which rehab facility Lohan will go to when she’s released.

If Shaprio’s plan works, it would send a message to every celebrity that LA is a joke. A lawless town that panders to the rich and famous. Which is the very reason this plan won’t work. There’s no way Shapiro is going to convince the judge to change a 90 day jail sentence into a 30 day sentence in a cushy loft in West Hollywood. Shapiro might as well ask the judge to grant Lindsay 20 handmaidens to serve her every whim plus a pony to ride around on.
