“The Jersey Shore” kids think they’re clever

Season 2 of The Jersey Shore will be broken into two parts called “cycle” 2A and 2B. MTV considers these all part of one season while the cast takes the position that 2B is a third season and not part of their existing deals. Hence, the cast of Jersey Shore tried to grow a brain and banded together to hold out for more money per episode. Guess what happens when these people try to think for themselves?

The cast’s original all-for-one, one-for-all contract status had fallen apart and MTV had given the show’s stars until last Friday to individually negotiate new deals, a source close to the cast tells RadarOnline.com.

“None of them did. So when the 16th passed and there were no new deals, MTV took the position that all the cast’s original contracts were still in force at their $10,000 an episode fee.”

The cast was ordered to return to work Monday, or else. “The ‘or else’ part is that if they don’t come back to work tomorrow, it goes to legal,” the source explains.

I’d like to see this go to court so I get to watch those guys respond to all the prosecutor’s questions. I’m pretty sure their answer to anything will either be “three,” “yes” or “cat”.
