Taylor Momsen’s band, The Pretty Reckless, premiered the new video for ‘Make Me Wanna Die’ today and it Makes Me Want to Cry. Haha, see what I did there? Aw, forget it, you jerks.
If you don’t want to watch it, imagine Taylor Momsen acting like jailbait and then throw in rain, fire and a graveyard! Hardcore, dude! Oh, is that a Metallica riff? No?
The song sounds like something a 14-year-old girl would write in the margins of her Trapper Keeper while day dreaming about the cute boy she has a crush on who doesn’t know she exists because he’s dating the head cheerleader and the video looks like it was directed by her gay goth friend. In other words, awesome.
I wanna make her wanna have her 18th birthday so I can legally do naughty things to her. I’m sure she already has, but still…
She does have a grown up voice, maybe she can cover “Cherry Bomb”
“She” looks like Ali Lohan with blonde hair. And she sounds like she’s 40.
The album is fantastic, people who put it down have probably not even heard the whole thing, ignorant is a word that comes to mind. Anyway, Light Me Up is album of the year so far in my opinion.
Absolutely the best album of the year. Ms Momsen is awesomely talented and the haters are just pathetic losers. And probably fat too.
