I hate you, Emma Watson
Emma Watson was only 10 when she was cast to play Hermione Granger in Harry Potter. 10 years later, Emma is now said to be worth $32 million and oh, how sick all that money has made her. Vogue explains,
Throughout her early career, Watson, 20, had been given a small weekly allowance of about $75, having no idea of the fortune she was amassing from the hit movie series until she had a “money conversation” with her father, Chris Watson, when she was around 17, the actress – and Brown University student in Rhode Island – tells December’s edition of British Vogue.
“By the third or fourth film, the money was starting to get serious,” she told Vogue, according to published reports in the U.K. “I had no idea. I felt sick, very emotional.”
That’s exactly how I felt last Friday when someone told me I’d amassed a $40 million fortune. But the sick feeling didn’t come until later when they laughed in my face and told me it was a joke. They probably could have mentioned it sooner before I called up Charlie Sheen and ordered the hookers and blow.
