Lindsay Lohan Only Borrowed the Necklace

Lindsay Lohan is trying to worm her way out of a criminal investigation. She’s being accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace but now claims the necklace was loaned to her. She says she gave it to her stylist but they forgot to return it.

Lindsay claims she gave it back to a stylist at some point thereafter but the stylist neglected to return it on time.

Lindsay says her stylist is the one who returned it to the LAPD last night.

Lindsay says, according to sources, “I didn’t have any part in the non-returning on time.”

I think that’s what stealing is but whatever. She’s probably lying. The store would have called her about it before reporting it as stolen to police. This is the worst excuse in the world. Right up there with “it fell into my purse.”
