It’s not a tuuumah! Rather, it’s not a stroooke! KCBS journalist Serene Branson did a followup interview where she explained why she suffered temporary aphasia during her Grammy news report.
Branson, who was checked out by a doctor at UCLA, says it was a complex migraine which mimics a stroke.
You can watch the interview below if you want. The only reason to is to see the interviewer almost crack up when Serene said “very” because it reminded her of “very der dereson.”
Sidenote: For being a reporter, she doesn’t do a good job at angling herself to the camera instead of directly facing the interviewer.
