Jesse Eisenberg feels out of place at the Oscars calling it nerve-wracking. “I have this general sense of feeling like I don’t belong, even though I’ve talked to some other people that very much belong and they have the same feeling,” he says. “I think it’s a room full of insecure actors, which is ultimately very comforting.” Eisenberg equates awards season to when he was 13.
“I feel like when I was 13 and I had to go to bar mitzvahs every weekend. This is the same feeling. You have to put on a suit every weekend to go meet with a bunch of Jews.”
Turns out this is actually a really accurate description. As The Superficial noted, Mel Gibson must have got a hard-on after reading this. “See?! See?! I f**king told you!,” he probably slurred to no one in particular.
