CBS Willing to Forgive Charlie Sheen

A top exec at CBS says he’s willing to forgive and forget whatever Charlie Sheen has done if it means getting him back on Two and a Half Men thus proving just how hard it is for a money-hungry corporate machine to walk away from having the number one show on television and the millions of dollars that comes with it. Radar reports CBS president and CEO Les Moonves has been talking to execs at WB in order to figure out a way Sheen and Men creator Chuck Lorre can coexist.

“Moonves told Chuck Lorre that he should ‘let us handle Charlie’,” the source says. Lorre produces two other huge CBS hits, The Big Bang Theory and Mike & Molly. The prolific writer/producer also has several other projects in development for CBS.

“Moonves wants to get the show back on the air. He’s all for it,” the insider adds. “He says certain people need to forget anything and everything Charlie’s done recently and just move on with the business at hand.

“The core issue is, as he put it, the volatile relationship between Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre. He believes that if CBS and Warner Bros. TV honchos can find a way to get Chuck and Charlie to speak again, cooler heads will prevail.”

A really easy way to settle all this would be to explain it in terms that both parties can understand. That’s why I propose we have a sit down with Sheen and Lorre and then wave a bag of money in front of their faces while pointing to it and asking “You? Want? Yes?’ like you would to a baby.

I will never watch that show again and will never buy a product advertised on CBS if they bring that schmuck back.

It might be easier just to wave a bag of hookers and coke in front of Charlie.

I’m enjoying those who’d think to take the moral high ground and claim to never watch the show agai—because I’m sure they don’t watch porn, isn’t gay, masturbate, or is presently committing fornication; he without sin….
