Charlie Sheen’s Detroit Tour Sold Out Quick

Much like Conan O’Brien did after being fired, Charlie Sheen is going on a live variety tour starting in Detroit. Tickets for the April 2nd show at Detroit’s Fox Theatre went on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday selling out in minutes.

While a news release sent out Saturday put the figures at approximately 2,200 tickets sold, capacity at the Fox Theatre is actually closer to 4,800 seats. There are usually a few hundred seats that are held back from going on sale as production arrangements are needed for the show’s set, possible video cameras, and other staging logistics, but Sheen’s Fox Theatre show most likely moved more than 4,000 seats Saturday. While pinpointing exactly how quickly a show sells out is tricky due to processing credit cards and other transactions, the report that the Detroit show sold out in roughly 18 minutes is accurate.

Tickets started at $35 with some priced as high as $80 which seems a little ambitious considering the entire show will just be Charlie Sheen whacked out on coke reading bad poetry he wrote the night before. If you want to hear Charlie ramble on and on about nonsense for 90 minutes, it’d be a lot cheaper to just go up to him and ask “do you like to party?” while rubbing your nose.

I’ve ran out of new Charlie Sheen photos so here’s Hayden Panettiere at the Steiger Awards with her boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko.

There are at least 4000 idiots in Detroit. Now it has been proven as fact.

I hear Charlie is going to reveal the meaning of life during the show. Cocaine. Lots of it.
