Cheryl Cole Dropped from ‘X Factor’

Cheryl Cole was set to use the American version of X Factor as a jumping off point to take America by storm. It was a well laid out plan with one problem. It all hinged on Cheryl Cole actually being on the American X Factor. Which she isn’t anymore. She’s being replaced by former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger which will move Steve Jones as the lone host on the show.

TMZ says Cheryl was dropped from the judges panel because producers were concerned the American audience wouldn’t understand her accent. Makes total sense considering Simon Cowel’s accent is almost the same. Maybe that’s why people put up with him for however many years American Idol was on. They always thought he was saying nice things.

Granted, the accent was only part of the issue. The other was Cheryl and Paula Abdul had a “lack of chemistry” and Cheryl was “more expendable.”

That’s a low blow. You might as well kill yourself if you’re more expendable than Paula Abdul. That woman brings nothing to the judge’s table. Her mumbling is ten times worse than a hot chick with an accent. At times, no one even knows what she’s talking about. She just goes off on slurry tangents like a grandpa who just had a stroke.

If that wasn’t enough, producers want Cheryl to return the the UK version of the show “but according to sources, Cheryl’s royally pissed over how this situation was handled and may sever ties with X Factor entirely.” That is until producers add another zero to her contract. Her pride is inversely proportional to her paycheck.
