Heather Mills beat Paul McCartney over the head with her wooden leg for a few years trying to siphon as much money out of him as she could after their divorce. But the bruises have healed and Paul McCartney is giving this marriage thing another go. This time to 51-year-old Nancy Shevell who he’s dated for four years.
“Nancy and Paul are getting married,” a source close to Shevell, 51, a New York businesswoman, tells PEOPLE. “Ring and all – very exciting.”
“They have the right chemistry,” the source said. “They’re both cool, chilled out and optimistic.”
Thankfully Paul McCartney won’t have as much money to take if they ever divorce. That’s because Heather Mills took $48.6 million of it and probably made herself a nice peg leg out of diamonds. That was an expensive lesson. I assume he now has a prenup that’s tighter than the boys John Travolta picks up.
He’s just a sucker for marriage.
