Earlier, NFL “player” Bret Lockett claimed to have carried on an affair with Kim Kardashian while she was dating Kris Humphries. Over the weekend, Bret went on Showbiz Tonight to admit that he has never actually met Kim. But what about when Bret said he had a physical relationship with Kim? Oh, you probably misunderstood.
“I’ve said before that it was a physical relationship,” Lockett, a pariah safety for the New England Patriots, said. “But when I mean ‘physical’ I say that meaning there was a physical aspect in the relationship, meaning that, I don’t really want to get into the details…”
Yea, you guys wouldn’t understand so Bret won’t even bother to explain what he meant by “physical.” But how did this relationship start in the first place? Apparently it’s a big joke someone played on Bret that Bret still thinks is real.
According to Lockett, he said he hooked up with Kim via phone after Kim’s friend Lauren London told Bret’s brother that Kim wanted his number. Lockett said, “I thought he was playing,” but said Kim called him 10 minutes later and that’s how it started. He might want to go with his gut next time because Lauren London said,
“To my family, friends, supporters and the media. I have an impostor,” she says. “It is similar to identity theft because he/she constantly pretends to be me. This person disrupts my personal and professional life on an almost daily basis. Words cannot express how troubling this situation is for me and my loved ones. The statements made about me in the Kim Kardashian story are 100 percent false. Please repost and thank you for your support.”
Showbiz Tonight host A.J. Hammer then asked Bret about the cease-and-desist and the lawsuit Kim’s lawyer has threatened to file but as of yet, has not. Considering Kim’s adamant about Bret lying, it’s weird.
“I do not plan on apologizing or retracting anything,” Lockett said, shaking his head slightly. “What I’ve said is the complete honest truth. You can’t fault somebody for telling the truth. That’s just plain and simple.”
“At the end of the day,” he continued, “I don’t understand how you can take somebody to court and sue somebody for telling the truth, because once we all go to court, we are all under oath.”
Yes because never in the history of the world has someone lied under oath. I think Bret has been watching too many Matlock reruns.
