The short version for those who missed it. Nic Cage’s son, Weston Cage, got angry after his personal trainer told him he couldn’t order an item off the menu at The Farmer’s Kitchen. Weston retaliated by trying to high kick his trainer who took him down and subdued him like a fat kid at summer camp. Then he punched him in the face 13 times in the middle of a Hollywood street for good measure.
The trainer kept Weston pinned until cops showed up. Cage was then handcuffed and sent to the hospital for a mental evaluation.
And now there’s video of it. I find this is pretty normal for LA. If you don’t see a huge goth kid getting beat up in the middle of the street by his personal trainer in broad daylight, you must have stepped out of the city limits.
In related news, Christina Fulton, Weston’s mother, left the LA hospital where he’s being treated, went up to a camera and blamed it all on Nic Cage calling him a toxic influence.
