‘The Avengers’ and ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ Trailers are Out

First up is The Avengers trailer which leaked a few days ago. This isn’t due out until next year but that doesn’t mean Marvel can’t put out a teaser trailer. You know this movie is going to do great considering it’s an amalgamation of all the crappy superhero movies that was released this year.

Next up is the official trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man provided by Movie-List. It stars Andrew Garfield as hipster Spider-Man. Gosh, he’s so tortured. The ladies love that.

If I was bitten by a radioactive spider and pulled a web out of my neck, the first thing I would have done is run around the room flailing my hands and shrieking like a girl. I’m just sayin’. Can we be at least a little realistic?

Not really. Fox has to keep putting out stuff for X-Men and Spiderman every few years otherwise the rights to those characters default to Disney. Not to mention the reboot will actually follow the comic unlike the three old films.

Which means no Mary-Jane Watson, thank god.

I’m sorry, but remaking (rebooting) a movie that is ten years old is ignorant and lacks creativity. More importantly…the special effects look WORSE than the original. Which makes no sense. It looks like a video game. Even the makeup effects look bad. I could make that thing on the back of his neck with 10 dollars worth of halloween makeup from wal-mart.

The purpose of a trailer is to demonstrate the quality of a film. It does not look like a video game because it is first person. It looks like a video game because the buildings looks fake, his hands look fake, his whole body is poorly rendered period. It is too smooth, too colorful and just crappy CG. Do some research? I don’t give a crap why they switched directors. It lacks creativity for a new director to just go back and remake the first film the previous director made. If you don’t see that, then you also lack any sense… Read more »

“crappy superhero movies”? Really? Considering xmen first class, iron man, captain America, and every Chris Nolan batman film has gotten and above %70 score on rotten tomatoes whoever wrote this either isn’t a fan or doesn’t know s**t.

Last I checked, Iron Man wasn’t released this year, Batman and no one from X-Men is an Avenger. Captain America just came out so I’ll give you that.

Chances are. If you’re JUST learning that they were rebooting Spiderman.
You’re not a fan of the character at all and your opinion is pointless.

they need to make it more darker and based more on its original as the other marvel movies made later on. they should also reboot fantastic four and daredevil. spiderman 1-3 were great ut a little to much comic scenes and corny dancing

Everyone who has seen batman begins and the dark knight has seen the direction comic book movies should be headed. Hence the darker more relevant trailer for spiderman. X-men did the same with first class and I believe rebooting the movies that were possibly presented as poor like Fantastic four, Daredevil, Superman, and even the new wolverine movie are great decisions. People who like comics see different points of view and different looks of characters al the time in the actual literature. Why not have movies do the same? Personally I would love to see a different style of x-men… Read more »
