I was never too into The Lord of the Rings trilogy so it felt like hell when Peter Jackson forced me to sit through six endings with the last one. But maybe my feelings will change with The Hobbit because the first 30 seconds of the teaser trailer makes it look like a slapstick comedy in the vein of Dumb and Dumber. Like I’ve always said, a movie isn’t a movie without a fat guy sitting on a chair and breaking it for cheap laughs.
