According to results of a preliminary test, Whitney Houston died from a mixture of Valium, Xanax and alcohol and not from drowning. A final toxicology report will confirm which of the three was the major contributing factor.
“Whitney had taken Valium, Xanax, and alcohol, which led to her death. The coroner is waiting on final toxicology results to determine which one of the three was the major contributing factor of her demise,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. “The coroner will be closely examining Whitney’s blood alcohol content at the time she died as well. The sedatives and alcohol will almost certainly be the cause of death, and not drowning. Her heart stopped beating because her respiratory system was suppressed because of the anti-anxiety meds, and combined with the booze it probably happened very quickly before she was found partially submerged in the bathtub.” Radar Online

As someone who has to take this form of medication due to an illness. Ever single time some star dies of this it gives more rise to doctors not wanting to prescribe them. Do us a favor. First, if you have an illness – take them correctly! Not with alcohol and certainly not two different ones together. You were someone with so much talent who squandered it on drugs. I feel for you and your family. And, the countless other of us who will know this is a notch to be added to our healthcare community.

My mother always told me that when someone passes, we should rem the good.
