Clay Aiken hasn’t been relevant since American Idol. The only time he’s been in the news is when people ask why he looks so androgynous or when he’s on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen telling people Rihanna would never make it past the first round of auditions on American Idol.
When asked which pop singer today wouldn’t make it past the first round of auditions on “American Idol,” Aiken was taken aback … because, according to him, it’s too hard to pick just one!
“There’s too many, I’ve stopped listening to them because they can’t sing” he said, before ultimately deciding on Rihanna … because she has “some pitch problems.” Too Fab
Oh, snap. It’s on. Well, it would be if Rihanna had any idea who Clay Aiken is. If you asked Rihanna about this, she’d just be like:
Relevant to whom? You? Who are you? I find him extremely relevant. Plus, he’s right. Nothing wrong with telling the truth. I wish more people would instead of making up stupid stuff like you just did.
Clay had it right! And he has every right to speak on the topic. Clay has perfect pitch whereas Rihanna and the current crop of “singers” need to be autotuned to pass muster. Take a listen to his latest single, “Bring Back My Love” from his new “Steadfast” CD. You’ll never diss Clay’s voice or his opinion on others’ voices again.
Clay answered a question on a show and now you want to use him as a headline?. Apparently you consider him relevant enough to use him to get hits. You’re the only one that has used the work androgynous lately as it applies to Clay. My goodness – why don’t you just come out and use the word gay? No need to come to Clay’s defense as far as his being relavant goes – just check the link if anyone is really curious.
