The first image of Anthony Hopkins as Alfred Hitchcock in the upcoming Oscar-baity Hitchcock, which began shooting Friday, just came out. The film will also star Helen Mirren, as Hitchcock’s wife, Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh, who did the famous Psycho shower scene, and Jessica Biel as Vera Miles, who played the sister of Leigh’s character.
Anyway, Hopkins looks… close enough to Hitchcock. Maybe a little bigger. Hopefully he fits into that outline Hitchcock was always walking into. Imagine if he didn’t. Embaaaarrasing.
