A new report from Radar claims Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy aren’t getting along on the set of the over budget and behind schedule Mad Max: Fury Road. Hardy likes to stay in character when he’s not filming so he talks and mumbles to himself and Theron thinks that makes him a “weirdo.”
“Charlize and Tom are just not getting on together,” the source told RadarOnline.com. “Professionally, they are doing a wonderful job, but in-between takes Tom likes to stay in character and is constantly talking to himself and mumbling things.
“Charlize has tried to talk to him during breaks in filming but he shuts himself off from the rest of the cast.
“She has the ability to switch off when she’s not filming, and can immediately turn into her character as soon the camera’s rolling.
“However, he prefers to isolate himself and Charlize thinks he’s a weirdo! But I don’t think that bothers him, he just does his own thing, the source revealed.
Then again, maybe Charlize can’t understand Tom’s British accent. Like when you’re talking to someone from England and they have a thick Jamaican/chav accent and you just stand there nodding your head the entire time hoping they don’t suddenly punch you in the face. Maybe that’s what’s going on. Charlize just doesn’t want to be punched in the face.
