Celebrities have yet to learn to avoid the Sierra Blanca checkpoint in Texas where they’ve caught the likes of Willie Nelson, Armie Hammer, Snoop Dogg and Fiona Apple with drugs. The latest star who never reads the news is Nelly whose tour bus was raided after drug sniffing dogs alerted the cops. They probably did that pointy thing dogs in cartoons do or bark or whatever.
On the bus the cops found 36 small baggies of heroin and ten pounds of marijuana in a duffel bag along with a .45 caliber pistol. The seven people riding the bus were all detained but Nelly and five others were released after one guy, Brian Keith Jones, admitted the drugs and gun were his.
