Instead of calling out radio stations for being over-reactionary after a few of them took her newest single Die Young off of rotation, Ke$ha is doing the complete opposite and shifting the blame.
Even though Ke$ha is listed as one of the writers of the song, she tweeted, “I had my very own issues with ‘die young’ for this reason. I did NOT want to sing those lyrics and I was FORCED TO.” You hear that, guys? Her label had a gun to her head and forced her to sing it even though she clearly knew something like this was going to happen. Poor Ke$ha.
Of course, her label probably told her to stop throwing them under the bus so she deleted the tweet and replaced it with, “I’m so so so sorry for anyone who has been effected by this tragedy.and I understand why my song is now inappropriate. words cannot express.”
She spelled ‘affected’ wrong in her tweet.
