After more than 10 years of marriage, Ashley Judd and Dario Franchitti are going their separate ways.
“We have mutually decided to end our marriage. We’ll always be family and continue to cherish our relationship based on the special love, integrity, and respect we have always enjoyed,” Judd, 44, and Franchitti, 39, tell PEOPLE exclusively in a statement on Tuesday.
Ashley and Dario were engaged for two years before marrying in a private ceremony in Scotland in 2001. Now that it’s over, they’ll probably just exchange awkward glances whenever they pass through the halls.
