Rihanna Went to Court With Chris Brown

Yesterday, to show support for her man, Rihanna accompanied Chris Brown to court in his community service case. The DA is alleging Chris falsified his community service records lying about completing 180 hours of community service.

In court, Chris’ lawyer, Mark Geragos, submitted documents claiming Richmond’s deputy police chief “observed Brown working very hard at cleaning the brush at the [police] stables.” Also submitted were invoices and checks contradicting the DA’s claims that Chris didn’t pay $31,534.70 to the Richmond PD for providing security while he worked.

There was no mention in the filing of Tappahannock Children’s Center where Chris was said to have performed some of his community service and where Chris’ mom, once director of the center, filled out his paperwork.

Geragos then made an impassioned speech basically claiming the DA is on a witch hunt. “I have never had a client who has been tortured like Chris Brown has,” said Mark at a news conference at his office after the hearing. Geragos wants the prosecutors held in contempt of court for filing false documents accusing Chris of making up his hours.

Geragos went on, “The D.A. is paralyzed with the thought his probation will be terminated. If that happens they won’t be able to jock him around like they’ve been jocking him around.”

Sadly, at no point during the press conference did Geragos call the prosecutors “hatas” and chin check them. It’s like he doesn’t want to be taken seriously or something.
