Aaron Hernandez’s life just gets better and better. According to reports, on July 16, 2012, Aaron Hernandez and his group got into a fight with two men named Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado at Cure nightclub in Boston. Abreu and Furtado left the club but never made it home.
Abreu, who was driving, stopped at a traffic light on Shawmut Avenue, about to make a left onto Herald Street, when a silver or gray SUV with Rhode Island license plates pulled alongside the sedan. Someone from the SUV opened fire, killing Abreu, 29, and Furtado, 28.
Boston Globe via Deadspin says authorities never found the SUV and the murders went unsolved. Until later in the day on Thursday when Boston PD did find the SUV it was looking for. Turns out Aaron Hernandez rented it.
Boston PD has located red SUV with RI plates it was looking for as identified in July 2012 homicide. Aaron Hernandez rented it.
