Lady Gaga Forced to Release New Single Early

Following in the footsteps of Katy Perry’s “Roar” leaking a day early and heading to the top of the charts, Lady Gaga released her single “Applause” a week early.

According to her, she was “forced” to after hackers began leaking pieces of the song onto the interwebs like they were disposable cat memes.
