Ever since the Biogenesis PED scandal with Alex Rodriguez not taking responsibility, trying to fight the allegations to shorten his season suspension and leaking a client list, which even included names of his teammates, to spread the blame, he’s become the most hated man in sports. This ill will all came to a head last night during the Red Sox vs Yankees game when A-Rod came up to bat.
Red Sox pitcher Ryan Dempster aired out his frustrations by deliberately beaning A-Rod. It took him four tries to finally hit him in the ribs. You couldn’t see it, but a single tear rolled down A-Rod’s cheek as people cheered.
Surprisingly, Dempster only got a warning from the umpire while starting pitcher Joe Girardi was ejected.
