After hearing about how Banksy tried to sell original signed works to random people in Central Park for $60 a pop and only selling a few pieces, hoax artist Dave Cicirelli, promoter Lance Pilgrim and filmmaker George Gross decided to do the same thing. This time with fake Banksy pieces.
The result? They sold everything. Even their notarized “Certificate of Inauthenticity.” Thus proving people are idiots.
