In a Q&A with Yahoo! last week, Jennifer Lawrence spoke about the unrealistic body expectations set forth by the media and blasted superficial shows like The Fashion Police for perpetuating these ideals.
“There are shows like ‘The Fashion Police’ that are just showing these generations of young people to judge people based on all the wrong values and that it’s OK to point at people and call them ugly or fat.”
Joan Rivers wasn’t too thrilled about these comments. She noted how much Lawrence loved them when they complimented her during awards season and is now doing a complete 180.
