Everybody Loves R. Kelly the Sexual Predator

Jim DeRogatis is the journalist who broke the story of R. Kelly’s predatory practices on teenage girls. The one which said he’d hit up high schools to trawl for fresh meat. Where he interviewed dozens of R. Kelly’s victims, all underage, none of whom would testify against him. The report eventually lead to an almost 30 minute long tape showing R. Kelly peeing in a 14-year-old girl’s mouth and preparing her to accept his “gift.” He was then tried for child porn and acquitted.

DeRogatis, interviewed by the Village Voice, says the world has largely forgot what R. Kelly did. Pitchfork had him headline their festival and even Jezebel fawns over his new album “Black Panties,” an ode to pussy. And that’s saying something when even Jezebel makes no mention that it might be 14 or 15-year-old pussy he’s singing about.

That is to say, you should read the interview and see why maybe you should think twice about supporting R. Kelly since he’s a sexual predator who preys on the young and impressionable. This is the same guy who married an underage Aaliyah and paid her off to keep quiet like he did all the other girls he took advantage of.
