AHL ref David Banfield strapped a GoPro to his helmet giving everyone a first person view of what it’s like being a ref during a hockey game. The annual Teddy Bear Toss game on December 7 to be exact. Hence, the thousands of teddy bears littering the ice after a goal. Both Banfield and linesman Paul Carnathan were mic’d up which helped capture the audio.
