No One Was More Surprised Than Taylor Swift About Not Winning Album of the Year

Taylor Swift thought her album Red had won for Album of the Year at the Grammys last night. Unfortunately, that “R” sound she and her people heard wasn’t for Red but for Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories. Fortunately, we have this gif of Swift thinking she had almost won which is worth more than the award itself.

Swift’s look of shock and mechanical clapping wasn’t even the best part though. Check out the people around her. For a split second, they all jumped back in their seat thinking it was Red only to slump back down in utter disappointment when they realized it was Random Access Memories.
