Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann were on Late Night on Thursday to promote The Other Woman (tracking 25% on Rotten Tomatoes, yikes). I’m not sure if you’ve ever tried to hold a conversation with two giggling girlfriends but the interview was kind of like that.
Anyway, Seth Meyers asked about the time they drew a mustache on Kate Upton while she slept. It’s a white people thing.
“We did,” Mann admitted. “Bad, bad girls!”
Meyers then showed a picture of Upton sleeping on a plane. “She was fast asleep, like right away, which makes me so mad because I can never sleep on flights,” Mann said. “So Cameron and I were up and we’re like, ‘Yeah, what can we do?’ She’s like passed out and we decided to draw [a mustache].”
“I’m drawing on her and she does not wake up,” said Diaz. “She’s like a child. She’s like a little baby.”
“She’s like a teenager,” Mann said simultaneously.
Smirking, Meyers said, “Whereas you are adult women who draw on people’s faces.”
They kind of felt guilty about it so they drew mustaches on themselves before taking a picture. And then they felt even more guilty so they washed Kate Upton’s face. While she slept. That went from douchey to endearing to creepy really fast. Did they sit there stroking her hair while they watched her sleep too? Because I would have. So soft. So pretty.
