Katherine Heigl Was Misappropriated, Wants $6 Million, Delusional

In March, drugstore Duane Reade tweeted, “Love a quick #DuaneReade run? Even @KatieHeigl can’t resist shopping #NYC’s favorite drugstore.” Then they added a picture of Katherine Heigl leaving the store.

Heigl didn’t like being used as a prop to promote a drugstore so she tried to settle out of court.

“Her attorneys reached out to Duane Reade after [the tweet] was posted,” the insider tells Us. “They called and asked for it to be taken down, and Duane Reade ignored them. She tried repeatedly to have this settled without a lawsuit.”

Now she’s suing them for $6 million because you can no longer show people pictures of someone walking out of your store and telling other people that they walked out of your store. The highlight of the lawsuit is how Heigl pumps herself up as if her career hasn’t stalled on account of being a bitch.

Katherine turns the lawsuit into a resume, saying, “Plaintiff is a highly successful television and motion picture actress, producer and celebrity.” It goes on to list her various credits, adding, “Plaintiff continues to be in high demand in the entertainment industry.”

And braggie Katie adds, “A recent search for ‘Katherine Heigl’ on the Google search engine returned over 3.2 million results.” And she says she boasts 754,000 Twitter followers.

Oh 3.2 million results on Google? Let’s check it out. The top 3 results are just biographical sites about her, the 4th is this lawsuit and the 5th is about her being “difficult, demanding, not worth it.” How much do you want to bet that more than half of the rest of the results are going to be like the 5th one about how she’s “Hollywood’s most hated actress”?

In any event, Heigl says she’ll donate any monetary awards to the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation.
