By now everyone knows Toronto Mayor Rob Ford loves crack. Now we know just how much he loves it. Ford was again caught on video smoking it. According to reports, the video, filmed Saturday, shows Ford smoking with a drug dealer from a copper-colored pipe. Both the Globe and Mail have seen the video which is said to have been shot in Ford’s sister’s basement. The perfect place to smoke crack, apparently.
The newest video was secretly filmed by the dealer who’s now trying to sell a package of three videos for “at least six figures.” When the newspaper asked Ford for comment, he said he was taking a break and getting help.
“Today, after taking some time to think about my own well-being, how to best serve the people of Toronto and what is in the best interests of my family, I have decided to take a leave from campaigning and from my duties as mayor to seek immediate help,” he said.
Of course, Ford’s lawyer says we can’t be sure what he was smoking in the video. Plus, what’s that popular saying? Let he who has not smoked crack with his drug dealer in his sister’s basement at 1am in the morning cast the first stone?
