The cast of Community never lost hope for a 6th season of the series. Even after talks with Hulu began breaking down. That optimism may have paid off now that Sony TV made a last minute deal with Yahoo to produce a 13 episode sixth season of the show. We are one now one step closer to a movie.
“I am very pleased that Community will be returning for its predestined sixth season on Yahoo,” said show creator Dan Harmon in a statement. “I look forward to bringing our beloved NBC sitcom to a larger audience by moving it online. I vow to dominate our new competition. Rest easy, Big Bang Theory. Look out, Bang Bus!”
Talk about going after low hanging fruit. See what I did there? Because Big Bang Theory sucks and there are a lot of swaying ball sacs in Bang Bus episodes. We can swear now.” Of course, it’s only fitting that Community moves to Yahoo, another much talked about network that no one bothers to check out.
