30 minutes into the Germany-Brazil World Cup match, Germany was already up by 5. By the time the game was over, Brazil would have scored only 1 goal to Germany’s 7. It was a stunning defeat for the Brazilian national soccer team who were one win away from the World Cup final. Watching the match, it kind of felt like this.
This would be their worst loss since 1920 when they went 6-0 against Uruguay. This was also their first loss in a competitive game at home since 1975.
To make matters worse, by the time Germany scored their 7th goal, Brazilian fans had started cheering for after every Germany goal. Man, I haven’t seen a massacre like that since Rob Kardashian’s last buffet.
