Zach Galifianakis and Louis C.K. are Working on a Clown TV Show

Zach Galifianakis and Louis C.K. are combining powers to bring us Baskets, a show about a man, Chip Baskets, chasing his dream of becoming a clown. The series will premiere on FX sometime in 2016. A quick synopsis:

In a world constrained by corporate interests and the homogenization of society, one man in Bakersfield, California dares to follow his dream of becoming a professional clown. But after an unsuccessful enrollment at a prestigious clowning school in Paris, the only job he can find is with the local rodeo. Baskets follows Chip Baskets’ (Galifianakis) pursuit of his dream, against all odds, to be a respected clown.

FX president Eric Schrier has already begun hyping the series. Says Eric, ‘To say Zach’s portrayal of the lead character Chip Baskets is hilarious/unique/riveting/fascinating would be an understatement. We can’t wait for the world to meet him.”

Is it just me or would Zach make a really depressing clown with his deadpan humor. It’ll be just a bunch of people not getting his jokes while he tries to break the awkward silence by squirting their eyes with water from a flower.

Louis CK’s dick is the balloon, and Zack is going to blow it into an “animal” or something.
