Ray Rice beat his wife in an elevator. Adrian Peterson beat his child with a switch so badly that he left marks on the kid’s balls. Arizona Cardinals running back Jonathan Dwyer is hoping to one-up both of them by beating both his wife and child. Dwyer gonna show you how it’s done.
Police say the 25-year-old Cardinal assaulted his wife in Phoenix on July 21st and July 22nd. Two victims were listed in the police report. His wife and their 18-month old kid. Reports say after she was assaulted, Dwyer took a shoe and threw it at his kid. When police arrived at their residence, his wife claimed he wasn’t home. Dwyer was actually hiding in the bathroom saying he’d hurt himself.
A report filed September 11 started an investigation which lead to the arrest of Dwyer on September 17. Dwyer denied any physical assaults. He’s been deactivated from the Cardinals roster.
Dwyer is being booked into the Maricopa County Jail on 1 count of aggravated assault causing a fracture, 1 count of aggravated assault involving a minor, 2 counts of criminal damage, 1 count of preventing the use of a phone in an emergency, and assault.
