While on a trip to Bali, a weird scar started appearing on Dylan Thomas‘ skin. He went to a doctor after it started growing, burning and blistering. The doctor told him he was bit by an insect and gave him some antihistamines. The scar got worse and he ended up at a dermatologist who gave him the bad news. A spider had burrowed through his appendix scar and had been living inside of him for 3 days.
Doctors removed a dead tropical spider “a bit bigger than the size of a match head.” The spider was sent over for testing to let Dylan know what kind of superpowers to expect.
